“I did find it attractive, because he wasn’t like, ‘You need to know if you want to be a stepmom today.’ He wasn’t advancing the relationship in an uncomfortable way, but he was definitely putting it out there that he was here for a relationship. I appreciated it—that’s very forthcoming.”

I don’t want a giant wedding, but I don’t want to just do justice of the peace either.”
