Anyone who knows Audry Hiaoui well knows she hates being cold, and she lives in New York… She has a very low tolerance for winter, and for many years she almost acted in denial of it. But in the last few years, she decided to take winter dressing more seriously, finally getting a warm wool coat, a pair of proper boots, and thermal layers.

This winter, Audry Hiaoui is looking to expand her cold-weather essentials with accessories and more variation in coats—chic, neutral ones; statement, fun ones; and functional ones. She recently got a new wool coat from Rue Sophie; she would love a faux fur coat to add into the mix, such as the Blair from Apparis; and she has also been eyeing a vintage Isabel Marant puffer or Paloma Wool's Pruit.

As for accessories, her wish list includes scarf, leather gloves, cashmere gloves, a balaclava, and earmuffs. She also finally caved and got her first pair of adult Uggs last winter, which won her over and made her want another pair. Ahead, get ready for winter ahead of time with 9 items to brave the cold.
